Demerit Points Policy

	1	I shall follow the instructions of the adult leader and apologize when making mistakes.
	2	I shall take things seriously and think before I talk, and I try to give the best answer
	3	I shall listen to the instructor or my friend quietly when they are talking and speak politely and kindly to others.
	4	I shall ask for permission before I do anything (e.g. speaking, going to washroom, playing, etc…).
	5	I shall keep the place clean at all times
	6	I shall use all resources sensibly (e.g.  food, water, crafts, etc…).
	7	I shall try to resolve conflicts in a peaceful manner.
	8	I shall assist children who are younger than me whenever possible and be a role model.
	9	I shall work within the group nicely and make the best of my abilities to serve the group’s objectives.

When collecting 5 points:

Collecting 5 points shall require an interview with the YLC supervisor. Moreover, a written notice would be given to the parents. Corrective actions must be taken.

When collecting 10 points:

A meeting with the parents is scheduled to elaborate on the issues. The member cannot continue to attend the sessions unless the meeting is completed with the required corrective actions.

If you collect 15 points, your YLC membership will be revoked for a year.

– The points will be cleared at the beginning of each year.
