Known by the abundance of starches and whole grains. Olive oil, herbs, garlic and lemon are the typical flavors found in its diet, the Lebanese cuisine is one of the most famous, tastiest and most delicious cuisine in the world !! Chef Mervat will teach us how to make some of the most popular Lebanese dishes at the kitchen of the ICK. Don’t miss out!

Menu:

Manakish Za’atar
(a dough similar to pizza topped with a mix of green thyme and sesame seeds and olive oil. It can either be served for breakfast or lunch)

Baqlawah
(is a rich, sweet pastry made of layers of Filo Pastry filled with ricotta cheese and sweetened with syrup)

Safayeh
(Dough topped with minced meat that is mixed with tiny pieces of diced tomato and vegetable oil, and this manakish is optionally served with ground pepper or pickles and yogurt. They are served for lunch because of their heavier contents)
