Fees & Payment Options

Below are the ISK Evening and Weekend School fees for the 2016-2017 academic year:

There is no longer a second-sibling discount. Current paid members of the Islamic Society of Kingston are entitled to a 15% discount on their total payment due

Please note that while classes are held over a period of 10 months, our tuition fees are calculated and collected for a period of 9 months. This is done to compensate for the number of days for which classes are not scheduled to be held (i.e. holidays).

Payment Options

For your convenience and to ensure continued operation of the school, the following payment options are available:

1). One-time payment for the entire year by cash/cheque on the first day of school.
2). Three post-dated cheques with payment for 3 months each.
3). Nine post-dated cheques with payment for 1 month each.
4). Credit card with payment for the entire year, by semester, or monthly.

Payment must be made on the first day of school.Please make cheques payable to "The Islamic Society of Kingston". Please place your payment (cash or cheque) in a sealed envelope, write the name(s) of your child(ren) on the envelope along with your name and phone number, and hand it to the Education Facilitator. A receipt will be given to you to acknowledge payment, however this cannot be used for tax purposes.

Financial Assistance

The ISK Evening & Weekend School has calculated tuition fees in order to cover the costs of running the school. However, we understand that there are those who may find it difficult to make the required payments for tuition. If you are in a situation of financial difficulty, please fill out the ISK Evening and Weekend School Fee Waiver Request. All information is kept confidential.

Prayer Timings

- Fajr and Isha times are calculated according to ISNA (sun is 15 degrees below horizon)
- Asr time is based on standard method (other than Hanafi). Asr may be prayed earlier if there is a
community event.
- Times shown for ICK are Iqamah times.
- Jum’a khutba starts at 1:20
