ISK Youth group and Strive are having a special meeting tonight from 6:00 - 7:30 PM for youth in grades 7 and up. We will be making a major announcement about the future of both Strive and the ISK Youth Group and we are looking for specific feedback from youth on what YOU want from the sessions. Refreshments will include Pizza and drinks. Please register online.

The first session of the ISK Robotics Club for grades 7&8 is Sunday from 12-3 pm. Spaces are limited. You must register online to join Insha Allah.

Muslim Children's Circle is resuming on Sunday starting after Dhuhr for children in grades 1-6. Please register online so we can estimate numbers and have your T-shirt ready for you. This week we will have some special guests to teach us about the First Nations people as part of Indigenous Information Month.

Family & Youth Services will be holding a Foster Parent Workshop at the ICK on Wednesday November 15 at 7:30 pm. Currently there are no Muslim foster parents in Kingston...yet there are Muslim children in foster care.

The ISK Annual Fundraising Dinner is scheduled for November 18th at Zorbas Banquet Hall starting at 5:30 pm. Tickets are on sale online, from any ISK Fundraising Committee member, or the following community members (Br. Anwer, Khan, Br. Ahmed Nawaz and Sr. Eram Butt). There is a booth in the hall if you would like to buy tickets after prayer.

The Annual International Bazaar is coming up on November 25 Insha Allah. Please contact Sr. Ulfat or Sr. Zuby for information or if you can contribute.

The Uncle of Sister Sahiza Hossenbaccus (mother's brother) has passed away in Mauritius yesterday. Please pray that Allah forgives all his sins and grant him a highest place in Jannah. May Allah also grant patience to his family.

There is a very URGENT need for 4 volunteers to drive our Brothers who are inmates to and from Jumu’ah at the masjid from ether Collins Bay or Joyceville Minimum institutions on a rotating biweekly basis. If you have a car and a bit of free time on Fridays (on a bi-weekly basis), please contact Imam Abdullah Elasmar or Br. Salahuddin right away.

We are pleased to announce that Imam Abubakar Mulla will be starting as the ICK's new Imam as of Monday November 13th Insha Allah.
