Islamic History Month continues with the following events:

Friday, October 20 at 6:30 pm: Join Boona Mohammed for a screening of his film "Tug-of-War" followed by a discussion moderated by Dr. Adnan Husain. Location: School of Kinesiology and Health Studies, Room 101 (28 Division St)

Sunday, October 22 from 2-4 pm: Open House at the Islamic Centre of Kingston. Join us for tours, displays, conversations and light refreshments. Special showing of "What the Ancients did for us - The Islamic World" (BBC program highlighting Ancient Islamic Inventions) from3:00-3:40 pm

Monday, October 23 from 2:30-5:30 pm: The Holy Fire Miracle: Sovereignty and Christian-
Muslim Pieties in Medieval Jerusalem by Dr. Adnan Husain Location: Watson Hall Room 517, Queen's University

Thursday, October 26th 2017 ¤ 7:30 PM ¤ RECONCILIATION: Muslim and Indigenous communities working together. A panel discussion with Kanonhsyonne/Janice Hill, Robert Lovelace, and Asma Maryam Ali. Botterell Hall, Rm B147.

iSPEAK Youth challenge will be held on Friday Oct 27 at 7 pm for youth in grades 7–12. Please register by the 23rd online.
