Join us for a POWER WEEKEND of events for Islamic History Month in Kingston.

Friday, October 20 at 6:30 pm: Join Boona Mohammed for a screening of his film "Tug-of-War" followed by a discussion moderated by Dr. Adnan Husain of Muslim Societies, Global Perspectives at Queen's University. Location: School of Kinesiology and Health Studies, Room 101 (28 Division St), Queen's University

Sunday, October 22 from 2-4 pm: Open House at the Islamic Centre of Kingston. Join us for tours, displays, conversations and light refreshments. Special showing of "What the Ancients did for us - The Islamic World" (BBC program highlighting Ancient Islamic Inventions) from 3:00-3:40 pm

Monday, October 23 from 2:30-5:30 pmThe Holy Fire Miracle: Sovereignty and Christian-
