Blood Drive - QUMSA

Asalamualakum,

QUMSA is hoping to organize a blood drive, but before we start planning we need to see how many people would be interested in donating. If you are interested in donating blood please take the Canadian Blood Services eligibility quiz to see if you are eligible to donate. ELIGIBILITY QUIZ here: https://blood.ca/en/blood/eligibility-quiz…
If you have travelled outside of Canada or the continental U.S. in the last 12 months to a malaria risk country, unfortunately, you will have to wait 1 year from the date of your return to Canada to be eligible to donate blood. Below is a link to a list of Malaria risk countries; https://blood.ca/…/fil…/countries-with-a-risk-of-malaria.pdf . If the country you visited is under “No Risk” then you are eligible to donate.
After completing the eligibility quiz, if you are eligible to donate and are interested in participating in the QUMSA blood drive please sign your name on the Google docs linked here https://docs.google.com/…/1VRnTDT8a30c4ABNu0AtALwrNP7…/edit… .
If you have any questions regarding your eligibility or otherwise please email qumsa.fundraising@gmail.com
Please come out and support this good cause, by donating your blood once you can help save multiple lives! Please share this with your friends and let’s try and get as many people as we can to donate.

Jazakumallah khair.
