The next STRiVE session for youth with be today (May 19) from 7:00 - 8:30 pm. Imam Abdullah El-Asmar will be our guest speaker. Topic is : Ready, Set, Ramadan!

There is no Islamic Studies tomorrow (Saturday) due to the long weekend.

There will be a Ramadan Refresher seminar entitled "Are YOU ready for Ramadan" with Imam Abdullah El-Asmar on Wednesday, May 24 starting at 7 pm. Please bring a dessert to share. Tea will be served.

The first day of Ramadan will be Saturday, May 27 with the first Taraweeh on Friday May 26. Ramadan schedules are available on the front desk and online on the website. Please try to come 10-15 min before 'Isha time for the 'Ilm Snapshot, a short talk related to the verses to be recited.

As per the long established tradition in our community, Kingston families will be competing again to deliver iftar meals to the Queens University campus where students and people from all walks of life experience the break of the fast and share the spirit of Ramadan in a very welcoming atmosphere. To offset additional expenses during Ramadan we will be collecting funds for the Ramadan Fund. Our goal is to collect $10,000 to cover these additional expenses.

There are many activities planned during the month. A poster containing details will be distributed soon.
