Iftar at QUMSA 2017

Assalamu alaikum,

The race for Ramadan blessings is on!

As per the long established tradition in our community, Kingston families will be competing again in 2017 to deliver meals to Queens campus where students and non-students alike break the fast and share the spirit of Ramadan. Approximately  50  students are scheduled to attend.

Volunteering families have found the experience very rewarding when actively involved. Families are encouraged to deliver the meals by themselves or with their family, then invited to stay and share the moment with the students in the very welcoming atmosphere of the International Centre. This year as an outreach initiative, we are aiming at having some Non-Muslim guests at the table.
Please do not be intimidated by the idea of "cooking for 50 people" as it is actually a very EASY project. Volunteering families don't have to cook! There are options available and they will be guided with clear instructions about every step.

This year, an online signup website has been set. Please follow the link: www.SignUpGenius.com/go/30E044FAAAC2CA2FF2-sponsor

The website has lots of information, please make sure you read all the instructions. If you do not feel comfortable using the Internet, please contact Br. Taoufik Mounib 613 583 5219.
